“Solid brass construction and of good quality. The opening and closing action is reassuringly smooth and precise. This is a new item and I thought I would try it compared to the standard type A. What I didn’t know until it bought this item was that conventional drain offs are not full bore meaning the valve only opens enough to let the fluid out. These new valves open completely allowing the fluid to drain quicker potentially. They are ideal for draining off a central heating system. The price is great as well.”
