The 3/4" rod is fitted with universal couplings. This couplings are quick to do up and undo, but must be rotated in a clockwise direction in use. The thread is coarse and can cope with a certain amount of dirt. The traditional length is 3 feet, longer lengths can be used, but there may be a loss of rigidity that a coupling at 3 foot intervals gives. Manufactured from black polypropylene with metal couplings. Suitable for short runs in drains and for cleaning most chimneys.
