Love. This. Watch... Up until now, the most expensive watch I owned was a U Boat worth £1k. It took a deep breath to invest in something like this, but I haven't regretted it. My mind has changed a fair few times over the years in preparation for this purchase, but I am glad I waited till now. Had my eye on a couple of Omegas but their price hikes have I believe taken most of their range into unfair territory where paying such money would leave a bit of a bad after taste. Dropping over £4k on a watch purchase, I wanted to have something that has some bona fide wrist presence to account for the money. There's a lot of watches that fly under the radar if that is your thing, but Breitling for me in this price bracket are pretty much unbeatable. As for the watch... Highly polished, green dial, big 46mm and milanese steel mesh bracelet all add up to a pretty formidable package. Power it with a high-quality movement, and bang for buck and for me and for my specific taste I could not have asked for a better watch. Got it for a good price too just managing to bag it for the pre-rise price after the usual manufacturer price hike. Downsides to the watch? None. Sure you need tough nails to open the clasp, but that means it's weapons grade and isn't gonna fall off my wrist any time soon. Stoked to bits with this one. Get yourself down to a dealer and try it on for size. Mines an 18cm wrist so I choose to carry a larger watch. Recommended.
