Hello, sorry that you did not like the product. This folder is made from soft vinyl and designed to be very flexible. I notice you ordered from Australia, so the folder will have been in a very cold airplane for quite a few hours, therefore when you first receive this folder the vinyl will just need bending a few times (just for a few seconds) to soften it up, after which the folder will be soft and bendable.
