“I had expected the cover to have a stretchable yet firm tape bound into the inside top and bottom of the cover to keep the bible firm and in place. This would enable the bible to be opened at approx half way and one half slid under the tape to permanently keep the bible in place and enable opening and using the bible freely.
With the cover as it is, it is not possible to use the bible while in the cover.

Hello, thank you for your note. This leather cover has two pockets on the inside of the front and back cover. You just need to slide the front and back page of your NWT Bible into each pocket. This holds your Bible firmly in place while using it.
“I have purchased a leather book cover before, without the Bible inscription on the front (maroon), and that was excellent. Unfortunately, the grey cover (deluxe, leather, NWT inscription) I've received seems quite worn, a little second hand! I'm quite prepared to accept it, but I did want to say that any company who sell, in effect, something as important as a cover for God's word, the Bible, should ensure they only reflect the importance of that in the condition of the item they are selling.
