“CLARKS! Why are you no longer making " Wave " shoes? I've been buying them since they first came out many years ago. The staff in Clarks, Preston , were all wearing them and convinced me to try them. Over the years my husband and must have bought about forty pairs. You haven't replaced them with anything similar. Why abandon a winning formula?I can't find anything in your present range which will take their place and , reluctantly, I'll have to desert you .The Andes I bought this month were comfortable the minute I put them on and they looked neat and stylish in the navy blue.I walk my collie dog at least three miles a day so they get some hammer.The wide fit allows me to insert orthotics, and this together the actual construction of the shoe, means I never have foot pain ( something I was badly troubled with before I discovered "Walk").If Clarks no longer think they are viable why not sell the rights and let another shoe maker take a chance at selling them ? If you've judged the market correctly you'll have nothing to fear from the competition.”
