“Needing a replacement for my old Clarks Lair Watch I searched and found the Begg Shoes alternative. I must say I have been very pleasantly surprised just how good they are. They are light, very comfortable and extremely well put together. The designs are similar although not exactly the same (which you would expect) but in all the important areas they offer functional equivalents - air cushioned sole, padded ankle, double stitching etc. I cannot recommend highly enough and the Beggs team were first class in getting the shoes out. Excellent !”

“My son is very fussy about his school shoes and has quite wide feet. Clarks Lair Watch was the only shoes he would be happy with. When Clarks discontinued making that model of shoe, we had a mad scramble on the internet trying to hunt pairs of these down. So pleased that Begg Shoes still sell the same model of shoe (not the Clarks brand any more but identical in all other respects, and over the last 18 months I have bought these several times. Thick soles that really last and really tough wearing, perfect for my teenager and all the playground games he gets up to! Thank you Begg shoes for making life easy!”
