“I always take a size 5 regular width shoe. I ordered the wide fitting as that was the only fitting in that size available. I thought they would be more comfortable & roomey. When I first tried them on at home & walked around in them they seemed very comfortable so I kept them. However, the first time I wore them outside I got blisters on both little toes after half an hour caused by the seems around that part of the shoe!”

Hello Kathryn, thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I am sorry that the Hotter shoes have caused blisters after wear. We find that blisters are caused by the wrong fit of shoes, whether they are too small or too large. With the shoes being a wider size than you would normally take, you may find that the shoes are moving around too much and causing friction in specific areas. If you wish to keep wearing the shoes, I would recommend using an additional insole within the shoes to take up the extra space around the foot.
