Unique in taste, Jever is one of the finest German pilseners out there. Bright gold and sparkling clear, Jever’s high carbonation gives an attractive appearance as well as a clean, crisp finish. Grassy and floral notes are accompanied by a distinct graininess. Jever is very thirst quenching thanks to its long dry finish and firm bitterness. “This was my favourite beer when working in Hamburg, and it’s great to be able to have it here. It’s still my favourite - refreshing, full of flavour and in decent sized bottles! A shame we don’t return them in this country, but that’s just my comment on our society and nothing to do with the quality of the beer or the service from Beer Hunter. Speaking of which, I was a little miffed that the snack box I added to my order was not included in the case, and my email to Beer Hunter about this was ignored. Also, maybe I’m expecting too much, and maybe Royal Mail is to blame, but the package was delivered in two days although I paid for next day delivery.”
