“Beautiful damask covering on mattress.
I’ve found the tufting covering the springs very uncomfortable as my body sinks into the depression of the “buttons”.
Update: after 2-1/2 years the depression of the “buttons” makes lying on the mattress even more pronounced and very uncomfortable. The mattress has been regularly flipped over and turned round.
I have never had such an uncomfortable mattress.”
“Although it felt reasonably soft and a bit bouncy in the showroom it is really too firm for me and actually is a bit painful on my hips and shoulders. It looks well made and is quite heavy which makes it nearly impossible me, at 5'2" to flip it every week for the first 4 weeks then monthly after that, I can just about manage to turn it. This bed care is explained after the sale and I have to admit I didn't really take it in, my fault, not the salesman's, and I have just realised it only has a one year guarantee as opposed to most 5 or 10 years others offer. If I could I would return it as I think it's maintenance is too difficult for me.”
