“I'm delighted with my split divan base. I live in a small cottage with a very narrow staircase that comes off my kitchen, and after the first 3 steps then does a 90-degree turn. I had to have a 4 piece split divan base (kingsize) so it would go up the stairs. I had never seen this before, only a 2 split. Having it come in 4 pieces was an absolute godsend, as my last base, I had to buy it flat pack, assemble it myself which is not my thing at all, and then kept bashing my legs on the square corners! I also went for 4-drawer storage and the drawers have loads of storage space and the divan was just so easy to fit together. I would like to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Shaun, Lee, Anthony & Craig. Shaun, Lee & Anthony delivered the bed. So friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them, they even took the handrail off the wall and put it back on, just to allow that bit of extra room to get the bed up the stairs without scraping the walls of the stairs. Craig is in customer services and I spoke to him on a couple of occasions concerning my order and again, he couldn't have been more helpful. I was kept informed every step of the way when it came to delivery and really liked the 2 hour time slot rather than the usual "4" or "we will deliver sometime between 8 am and 8 pm. They delivered the bed a lot earlier than my original notification stated which I received on the morning of the day of delivery and received a text notifying me of this. I would recommend the 4 piece split if you have a narrow staircase and I would most definitely recommend Bed Factory Direct!!! All the staff were very helpful, friendly and professional. I am a very happy customer, thank you!!!”

“Divan Base is ok but delivery service was appalling. I ordered the split divan for my newly created loft bedroom especially because it’s up two flights of stairs with two turns to negotiate.
The drivers dumped it in the hallway and left.
When I complained via email I was informed that the delivery team had been told to leave it in the hallway because there was a bed to be dismantled first. This is not true. The loft bedroom has just been built and not yet furnished. Apparently the transport manager was going to conduct a full investigation 6 days ago. I await his findings.”
