Only time can tell with products like these and I've only been sleeping on this one for a month. One arrival the mattress was presented well wrapped in clear, heavy duty, polythene heat sealed at one end of the bag. The sturdyness of the poly' was great as it enabled me use it to help haul the thing upstairs. I don't know the exact weight but I'm a 6'2" bloke and trust me when I say, it was a good work out. As additional protection the corners were further protected with foam pads. It's fair to say despite a truck ride, being carried down a driveway and finally donkey'd up a staircase and round a few doorways it was in pristine condition when unwapped. I dont know if I missed something when ordering but I was expecting a turnable (turn over as opposed to around) product. On reading the label it seems you can spin it around but there's only one sleeping surface. Oh well, live & learn. Comfort wise? Well it's a mattress isn't it. Seems to cope with my 90kg bulk, very supportive (medium/firm) the wife doesn't roll into me because the surface magically stays flat and only slightly conforms to your contours. Our old mattress did a good impression of a curled up sandwhich when laying on it, made togetherness a thing, whether wanted or not! I presume the inside is full of little pocket springs - hence its name - and thus far they seem to do the job, no creaks, groans or other noises from its internals unlike more traditionally constructed products. Breathability wise its ok but perhaps not as good as our old one due to its high synthetic fibre content. I could be wrong about this but it does feel different in this respect. As I say, how durable it proves to be is unknown, hopefully very, it appears well made, seems value for money and is comfortable, so pretty happy thus far.
