“Good sturdy bed, easy to put together but instructions were a bit unclear when it told you to Drill in the screws for the slats, turns out no drill needed just needed to be screwed in. Maybe just a change of wording in the instructions would help.”
“I was initially surprised, it's not solid wood, it's built from stained plywood, presumably that explains the 'Eco' label. The frame is very well-finished though, and you only spot it on close inspection, and it's easy to put together. One extra of all fittings (screws etc) was a nice touch. I'm a 71 year old Granny, I built it myself in a good couple of hours, the pics are easy to follow as long as you don't rush and study them closely. I started fixing the slat sets from the top and bottom ends of the side supports, which left a gap in the middle, about 6-7" wide. I cut an extra length of slat from a piece of 144x18mm PSE pine to fill the gap. My very overweight couple of guests have slept on it for 4 nights and it has passed the test! It looks very nice and I'm very pleased with it.”
