“I have to admit to having researched this purchase quite a lot and this has delivered beyond my expectations! Having received the palletised delivery, a word of warning, it’s a big box and wider than average doorways, clear access to the site or help to unbox and move the item is required, assembling the product was straight forward with good instructions and the base unit is extremely well made and strong construction.
Once complete the BBQ is superb, after seasoning the stainless steel grids it was time to put the grill through it’s paces, the sizzler zone worked wonders and seared a ribeye steak superbly, creating a crisp outer and retaining the flavours and juices of the steak to a restaurant quality I haven’t experienced anything quite like it in my own garden before.
The main grill area with four burners provides ample area to cater for the pescatarian side to our family as well as the carnivores, results so far have been great, good even cooking with flavourful results as the juices drip onto the flame tamers below and reinvest the flavours back into the grilling food above!
The temperature gauge seems to be reliably accurate if you were to chose to grill in a more convection style, however, the i-glow led lights on the controls are more of a gimmick than of any real use, even in the twilight or dark, but a fancy touch. The unit has plenty of space for storage and the side shelves provide plenty of area for utensils and plates etc. whilst cooking. The left had side opens to reveal the ice bucket with a chopping board lid, perfect for slicing that steak before serving straight from the grill.
All in all a superbly built piece of kit which is delivering a level of performance I’ve not experienced from previous grills, it’s early days but am certainly looking forward to the spring/summer season to really get to grips with this quality BBQ!”
