“I purchased this primarily to use over an open fire on a tripod. It is heavy and when full takes a bit of effort to move - so be prepared. The lid which also functions as a heavy duty skilet is great and the little "feet" are a clever feature. The main bowl is also very comfortable sitting dirtectly on the heat source - whether briquttes charcoal or wood. All in all this is a versatile pan large enough to cook for up to 6 people it's definitely well made and heavy duty looks set to last for years .”
