“Hi there, I ordered the Briquettes together with an Outback bbq which arrived damaged and which I have reported and received Dawsons Support Auto Acknowledge "Re: DDS Order ID: BQ1166560 - damaged item" with ref Id 2167959 but no further contact but now receive a Review request - strange?? The Auto Acknowlege basically says not to badger for a response with a resultant threat of being relegated to the back of the queue for disobedience?? I paid extra for Saturday delivery which was met but received an unusable Outback BBQ, I have requested a I now want this changed to a Weber Bar-B Kettle 47cm (2026) Charcoal BBQ - your ID 1502055 because of the poor qualitry of the Outback - for which I will pay the difference.

“First time we have used theser briquettes and tried them out cooking a whole roast chicken along with potatoes and veg in our outside homemade oven. Lit well and retained a good heat throughout cooking. We used less of these than normal charcoal briquettes and the bonus is that the ash can be thrown on the garden and there was less of that than from normal charcoal. We also use professional lumpwood and the coconut briquettes compared favourably with that. Also, we feel there was a lot less smoke using these. Will definitely buy again once stocks run low. Very pleased.”
