The Q1200 is supplied with a regulator designed for EN417-fitting gas canisters, such as the Weber 445g disposable canisters. This is clearly shown in the product description (item 1501084), along with text and images explaining the connection type.
If you would like to use a larger patio gas bottle with a 27mm clip-on fitting, this can be done by using the Weber 8482 adaptor, which allows compatibility with standard patio gas bottles. We hope this helps clarify the setup and allows you to enjoy your barbecue with your preferred gas supply.
