“I bought this as an upgrade to my £60, ten year old Grill King form Argos. The cooking area is slightly smaller and the Webber sits lower. The Argos one was much bigger in comparison. I used the old one for everything from grilling to broiling and low and slow smoking, with great results.
At first a little underwhelmed due to its smaller size. Something my wife tells me I need to get over as it's not about the size but what I do with it!
I'm sure once I'm used to it I'll appreciate the features. Such as opening grates and coal retention bars. The stainless steel grill and the removable centre grill to add other features. Also the easy clean and more manageable venting system. For now the loss a BBQ stalwart is weighing heavy. I reckon a after a few more fire ups the Webber will be firmly established! Probably should have gone for the bigger option though! Size is important”
“Having used a gas barbecue for the last 10 years the thought of going back to Charcoal felt like a good idea but really liked the convenience of gas lol but did miss the Charcoal flavour, so did my homework and settled on this weber Master-Touch 6 months ago, what can I say, I am now completely sold on this barbecue, having done chicken wings, burgers and sausages using the Vortex method and low n slow using the snake method for an 8 hr cook and have purchased the rotisserie ring for it too. I'm officially addicted to smoking on the weber”
“Fantastic piece of kit, exceptional quality. Everything fitted perfectly, nice and tight, no rattles. Only one tiny point for improvement, the plastic cap for the stabiliser leg was very flimsy and not in keeping with the quality of the rest of the product, I replaced it with a 1" cushioned rubber foot, far better.
10/10 for the BBQ.”
