Char-Broil Gas2Coal 330 Hybrid Gas and Charcoal BBQ Reviews

4.4 Rating 23 Reviews
Havn't used it yet, but it looks and feels a very good product. Took me on my own about 4 hours to assemble it. My advice is to take your time and understand each stage of the instructions. Will post a further review when i've used it.

Functions really well and would have received 5/5 if assembly instructions had been more precise.

Outstanding BBQ, fast light with the gas, the smell and the flavour of charcoal. Just awesome. Huge space and great additional burner. Would recommend

Took under 2 hours to put together (one person), instructions were fairly simple. I have only used the bbq 3 times since purchase but so far it’s been great. Quick to heat up, even heat distribution and looks great.

the whole process from start to finish was very easy. ordering was simple and the BBQ came in about 2 days from ordering. i would recommend two people to build the BBQ as it can be tricky on your own after 4 beers. However it is now up and i have had 4 cooks on it in a week.

Fiddly to put together, there are no words in the manual regarding construction only pictures so take your time, oh and it is quite bulky so you may need to build in situ rather than inside and then move out as I tried (only just successfully). The BBQ itself is well-reviewed, it is well made, sturdy and looks the part. I have only used it once so far. I decided to use coals, putting the burners on for 15 minutes on high then opening the lid as recommended for the coals to turn white. For me this did not work well, the coals did not retain enough of the heat which meant having to put the burners on again with the coals in situ which you are not supposed to do. I think essentially you need to heat the coals up on maximum heat with the lid closed for at least 20 minutes, although the manual is confusing as it says in one place to heat up for at least 15 mins and in another not more than 15 mins. I am sure I will get the hang of it though and it will be worth it as others who have perfected cooking on it rate it highly.
