“Given the cost of the product, and I appreciate that this is not the fault of BBQ Land the build quality of this unit is dreadful. The doors do not align with each other and its pretty much a self assemble unit other than the doors already being attached. Was hoping to use this for Christmas to cook dinner, was going for a road test this weekend and when I went to set this up found the issue with the doors. Called to discuss with the store, who my contract is with, they are going back to the manufacturer and I am just waiting to hear back. Im unsure what to expect, however I am fully armed with the consumer rights act 2015 and still well within my statutory rights so will see how this plays out.”

This smoker was damaged, having taken an impact near to one of the door hinges, at sometime during its lifetime, most likely during manhandling processes during the warehousing or delivery. We refunded the customer within 48 hours of being notified of the issue, and subsequently collected this smoker from the customer. We would not agree with the customer's opinion of the quality of the product - Broil King produce excellent quality products - it is just unfortunate that this particular item had suffered some damage.
