“We wanted to finish upgrading our bathroom. The original WC was a close-coupled unit, and there was a constant, annoying drip of condensation caused by the warm air on the cold cistern, so we upgraded to a concealed cistern in a cabinet, with a back-to-the-wall WC.
Life was made easier because the cabinet arrived ready assembled. My one niggle was that once the cistern was inside, it had to be mounted off centre to allow room for the elbow to connect the inlet. I'm not a plumber, by the way, just a capable DIYer, but a toilet is just 2 connections- water in and soil out. Maybe a professional has a hack for mounting the cistern? If they do, it's a closely guarded secret!
Anyway, it's in, and fitted to SWMBOs satisfaction. Her only criticism? The seat isn't all that comfortable. Guess shopping for loo seats is in my future!”
