“The usual platforms I use for bathroom fittings/ suites all seemed to charge double this cost for a brass shower door. This lead me to look at alternative suppliers and was pleasantly surprised to find brass doors for only a little more than standard chrome/ brushed doors.
The quality of these doors is generally quite good, making them good value.
Everything went together easily, although the instructions were a little ambiguous in places. Someone of less experience may have some trouble.
I did notice that the horizontal bars had more flex than expected. Maybe these are more substantial on a 8mm door ??
The supplied screws were a reasonable quality (which is rare), however they were far too short for fixing the vertical frame to the enclosure. Fixing through 10mm porcelain tiles, 3mm of adhesive, 10mm tile board, the metal frame and screw cover, this only leaves 3-4mm of screw biting into the timber frame!!! Some longer screws supplied would be useful and account for these circumstances.
Over all, I'd say it's a good quality product and good value too. I'd definitely buy it again on future projects.”
