“The towel rail looks exactly as it does in the photo, in terms of colour. There are other "Anthracite" rails that are a blue-grey, but this one is very much a dark grey.
It is a well made towel rail with no blemishes or chips when it was delivered. It can be used either way; with bars to the left or right and it doesn't matter how the flow or return connections are installed if you are using it on a central heating system. The powder coated paint covering is quite rough to the touch, but it is designed to be this way. Other powder coated towel rails we looked at in showrooms had a very smooth finish. I guess the rough finish would stop the towels slipping off!
It's a good size as we have installed it in a medium sized bathroom which has wet UFH and the towel rail is setup for dual fuel, so has a 600W electric element installed, controlled by a timer/boost switch.”
