“Having browsed a number of radiator suppliers’ web sites I was a little sceptical about Bathroom Mountain’s offer - mainly because of the low price. Having checked out the positive reviews, I decided to take a punt. I needed to replace 3 vertical column radiators in 2 different sizes. I was happy to go with standard white rads but was drawn to the anthracite version as there was no cost penalty. I was impressed with the very quick delivery (next day) and the communication from the shipping company was first class. The radiators arrived in robust boxes rather than the usual shrink-wrapping I’d experienced with other rads purchased elsewhere. They came with a top plug and air vent valve, wall plugs and screws. The instruction manual was very basic and generic. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a drilling template or even hole pattern dimensions. This wouldn’t have been a problem on a new install, but as I was replacing a radiator I had to ensure it lined up with the existing valve centres. It took quite sometime before I was confident that I’d worked out the position of the brackets but this paid off as the radiator aligned perfectly when hung. The quality of the wall plugs isn’t great. They were a little soft as I discovered when trying to tap them in with a hammer. I didn’t use the supplied screws as they felt a little loose. I used a number 6 screw instead which worked well with the supplied plugs. My advice would be not to rely on the fixings supplied but to source your own (for me it’s a confidence thing). I haven’t filled and run the radiators yet as my boiler is being repaired. Fingers crossed they don’t leak! The rads look great and the paint finish looks flawless. Very happy with the purchase so far.”
“Exactly what was described. The recommend products were useful too and saved searching for them. The delivery lads were super friendly and helpful too.”
“Very good radiator, great quality, I'm very happy. It has an internal baffle/diverter on the inlet, which you need to help circulate the water around, otherwise it flows straight from the inlet to the return. I have discovered cheaper on the Internet but you need to buy a diverter at an extra £30. All you need to buy with this is a thermostatic valve.”
“Excellent triple column radiator that chucks out a grand amount of heat. And loads cheaper than anywhere else without any reduction in quality. A word ir two in praise of Bathroom Mountain staff in Stockton. Boss man Peter was enthusiastic and helpful while Jonny the rad expert clearly knew his stuff and gave good, useful advice. Can't fault the process or purchase.”
