Spoke to them and they said that’s normal.

“Beautiful quality item. Better than what I expected. It's not too big either so it doesn't get in the way when washing. The levers feel great quality when turning. Not fitted yet but can't see there being any problems with this. Lovely detailing and looks very elegant. The perfect finishing touch. It's all in the details.
