“This is my third set of these strings, I have them on all of my basses. I usually use the deluxe version which are spiral cut to mimic real gut strings but decided to give the plain version a go. Equally good as the deluxe ones, nice and smooth under the fingers. Great that you get six strings in a pack so you can choose the tension you prefer. If you’re looking for old school sounds these strings are hard to beat. I don’t use anything else. Great for all roots music. Highly recommended.”
