“A big waste of money. It doesn't pick up the notes on the double bass very accurately at all and it's Already beginning to break in the ball joint join. Have only had it for two weeks.”

We use the Snark ourselves all the time on double basses with excellent results. The Snark is probably the best tuner I've ever used for the double bass. I suspect that if there is damage to the Snark, the vibration sensor isn't picking up as well as may be expected. Other things that can affect the performance of the Snark are its placement on the instrument and settings. I will telephone you today to get to the bottom of the problem.
