I was feeling ok about the basket, but I wasn't happy with the delivery. I paid extra for delivery on certain day and it didn't arrive until two days later. When I sent a message explaining this I wasn't impressed with the reply. I was told that couriers were busy at this time of year which I appreciate but this is the reason I paid more for delivery. It was your responsibility to make sure it arrived when I requested it. As it happened the present was for a later date but you didn't know that. I would have been embarrassed if my dad's present arrived after his birthday

Hi Sheila. I am sorry you were disappointed in the delivery time frame. As you know we dispatched your order in less than 24 hours on Monday 17th December to meet your requested delivery date of Tuesday 18th. You will see from the delivery tracking details that the parcel was delayed in the courier's hub, due to huge volume of packages in the network as a result of Christmas. We do try to make it as clear as possible that specific date delivery in the week before Xmas is achieved on a best endeavour basis, and no additional delivery charges apply for this very reason. The delivery price is the same regardless of date, as we have no influence over the delivery time frame at what is an incredibly busy time of year.
