O'Ventosela Ribeiro White Wine, Palomino, Treixadura, Godello, 11.5% ABV, Galicia, Spain Reviews

4.8 Rating 16 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

This bright, zingy, white Ribeiro wine makes a perfect summer drink. Made in Galicia from native Palomino, Treixadura, and Godello grape varieties, it's perfectly adapted for the cool Atlantic climate. The wine has a refreshing, lemony tang and a lightness of 11.5% ABV, making it easy to drink as a lunchtime treat or aperitif. Juan Miguez Montero produces this wine on the sandy slopes near the Mino river. The proximity to the sea gives the wine a zesty freshness typical of the Ribeiro region. Ribeiro pairs well with seafood, fish dishes, white meats, pasta dishes, and cured cheeses.

Lovely light dry white wine, very pleasant taste, not at all acidic, really enjoyed it. So I ordered it again - well recommended and at a reasonable price.

Unusual to have a white Ribeiro wine but this is of the same standard as the red wines!

I discover Ribeiro wine during a trip in Spain and when I found out Basco has it, I kept ordering more and more. Refreshing and crispy, this wine is perfect with seafood, shellfish, charcuterie and vegetarian tapas.
