Fresh Padron Peppers, Hand Picked from Spain, Sweet and Salty, Tapas Favorite Reviews

Try our fresh padron peppers, hand picked every week and shipped from Spain. These famous little green peppers are served as a tapa in bars all over Spain and are an absolute favourite with holidaymakers and locals alike. We work with a cooperative specialising on the growing of traditional Spanish vegetables, in which padron pepper is their star product. With a unique sweet, almost asparagus-like taste and a salty outside, Pimientos de Padron are as delicious as they are popular. But beware of their motto: 'unos pican, otros no', which translates to 'some are spicy, some are not'. These peppers best suit simple cooking; just blister in a hot pan with a smudge of olive oil and a generous sprinkle of crunchy sea-salt until wilted and soft. They can be used as an accompaniment to other ingredients but shine best as a simple tapas on their own.

If you can't get them from the supermarket (no delivery fee) then these are just as good as in Spain

Love the Padron peppers. We go to Spain frequently and always purchase the peppers over there. The Padron Peppers we received were fresh and delicious and will order again
