These peeled and chopped tomatoes are grown in la Rioja where the sunlight and heat contribute to the quality of these tomatoes condensing the sugars and creating tomatoes that are sweet and flavourful and the perfect ingredient to Spanish dishes. Canned at their factory in Navarre these tomatoes come in 2.5kg tins and are an essential flavour of the Mediterranean.

“Quite different to many supermarket chopped tomatoes: these are much fresher tasting - they (or at least this tin) were more like chopped fresh tomatoes in passata than the flavour I'd normally associate with tinned tomatoes. I think if you sieved the juice off them, you could probably use them as an alternative to fresh tomatoes in a recipe that called for a tomato concasse.”

“Discovered this brand this months. We must say. It’s fantastic! Perfect balance of acidity & sweetnesses. Makes fantastic tomato sauces for pizza & pasta. It’s a big Tin, so batch cook your sauces and freeze stored them ready to eat. We ordering the next tin this week.”
