El Angel Smoked Paprika Dulce, made from red peppers primarily from ocales, jaranda, jariza, jeromin and bola varieties, is a traditional Spanish product. The peppers are smoked by the growers before being ground in ancient stone mills, exclusively in the Extremadura region. This smoked pimenton is a key flavor in Spanish cooking, enhancing dishes like chorizo sausage, sobrasada, lomo, and paella. Its smoky taste and vibrant red color are essential to authentic paella. Use it in stews, sprinkle on chicken breasts, pasta sauces, stroganoff sauce, as a marinade for barbecue meats, or as a dip. Smoked paprika adds depth to many dishes.

I love pimenton and this is amazing value. It’s such a large quantity though that unless you use frequently it might lose its lovely aroma a bit before you finish it.
