Gin 987 is a new 100% distilled London Dry Gin uniquely made with local Mencia wine. Made in the Bierzo region of Leon, Gin 987 contains 14 botanicals including lavender, juniper, vanilla, thyme and bitter chamomile, all local to the region. These botanicals and citrus fruit are distilled twice in 1880 copper stills, some of the oldest in Europe. A full grain alcohol, five times distilled, is then added before being slowly filtered and bottled by hand. Making an exceptionally smooth, herbaceous and fragrant gin. 40% ABV / 700ml

“This is hard to find. I had this at the Gin Festival in Guildford this year and sadly, they have now gone into administration. Basco seems to be the only place that stocks this fabulous tasty gin. Many thanks for the free tonics too. On the strength of 987 I also bought their Lollipop gin that's on this site. Not tried it before but it's well worth picking up too.”
