Portuguese D'Campo Sirloin Steak, Dry-Aged, 700-800g, Frozen, Bone-In Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

We source our Portuguese D'Campo steaks from cattle raised in the north of Portugal and sacrificed in Galicia. Our steaks come from various Portuguese breeds such as Minhota, Turina or Black Angus, from ex-dairy cows between 4 and 5 years of age. All our steaks are dry-aged between 30 and 40 days. Cut from the sirloin part, these steaks weigh between 700-800g and are served on the bone for maximum flavour. They have a moderate level of infiltration and yellowish fat that provides a wonderful sweet and malty taste to the meat. Perfect on the barbecue, they are best served after thawing in the fridge for at least 24 hours. Please note that we source this product in variable weight packs, so expect a weight variation of approximately 200g +/- on each steak.

Hello Mark, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We appreciate your feedback regarding the origin of the sirloin steak. We are sorry for the confusion and have double checked with the supplier and the Beef originated from Portugal but was send from Spain. We hope you'll give us another chance to impress you in the future! Warm wishes, Team Basco Fine Foods
