Galician Gold Rib Steak, 1Kg, Dry Aged, 50 days, Grass Fed Cattle, Food Items Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Our Galician Gold range is renowned for its rich, buttery flavor, which is a result of the cattle's happy life grazing on the meadows of Galicia for up to 12 years. The high marbling of the meat, similar to that found in Wagyu beef, gives the beef an extraordinary flavor and succulence. The cattle are dry aged for 50 days, which not only intensifies the flavor but also tenderizes the meat. Traditionally, this beef is cooked over charcoal, allowing the yellow fat to melt and bathe the beef as it cooks.

“Don’t waste your money on this! This is not a rubia gallega rib steak! It is just a good rib steak you can buy on any online butcher… they send it as an unlabelled rib (frozen), so there’s no traceability at all. You are paying £50/kg expecting one of the best breeds in the world (real rubia gallega is) and you’ll get a really disappointed experience…they are getting rid of stock, getting huge profits.”
