Secreto Iberico is a prized cut from the top of the Iberian pig's loin. Located near the fat, it is often referred to as the 'hidden gem' of Iberico pork. over the last couple of years we've eaten our way around all the iberico cuts (and some of the beef ones too) and for the BBQ, this is the best. just pat them dry, grind some sea salt over and don't overcook it - it's really easy to get the outside nice and crisped up with the inside medium (just the tiniest bit of pink) and it's always a show stopper.

The authentic taste of ‘el secrets’ which I can never seem to get from a butchers cut in England. Tender an succulent. Enjoy!

The Secreto Iberico from Basco is always top quality, and has a superb flavour and texture, providing a true taste of a great heritage breed. Thoroughly recommend, it has to be tasted to be believed!

I’d really love to give this a 1 star lousy review just to be selfish to stop others buying it so there is more for my family!! I have always flashed this on the barbecue for about 10-15 minutes. Just need to be careful as the beautiful fat melts away it can flare up, keep moving the meat around turning it and watching it carefully. I serve this slightly pink and seasoned after cooking whilst the meat rests. Best served hot with whatever you fancy, we often have with salad and and salad potatoes, sometimes roasted or boiled and seasoned well. Love this meat that much I must of bought around 15kg of it at least over the past 18 months, we love it that much.
