As a member of the 'Consorcium of Jamon Serrano', Martinez Somalo guarantees the quality of each ham. Our Serrano hams are sold off the bone, with nothing wasted. All our serrano hams have an ETG accreditation for Guaranteed Traditional Speciality. The pigs are 100% Spanish and are selected for their quality. The curing process takes 14 months, during which the hams are carefully cured under the oversight of the Martinez Somalo ham master. This ensures each jamon is cured long enough for a consistent, firm, and full-flavored ham.

“Arrived within a couple of days of ordering. It's the third one I've ordered and justas good as the previous two. I have cut it int smaller pieces and vacuum-sealed them. Some sections need careful separation from the fat and a very sharp knife is recommended.”

“Excellent ham and it was actually better than any of Serrano boneless hams I ever bought !! It was even more I got that delivered. It was 5.65kg I got. Will highly recommend this !! It was also delivered to a very high standard and cold with proper cooling elements around it . Recommend in full and to buy from this company . I took this abroad and it stayed cool and well packed for many days !”

“This is the third time we have ordered a whole Serrano ham, and we have not been disappointed again, and it is just as good as the first one. The first time we ordered a whole Serrano ham like this, we were unsure what we had to expect. It comes within four days. We were very impressed with the presentation. The second time we have ordered the ham was very well packed and included a sturdy wooden stand to build and to hold the ham. A slim, flexible knife for cutting and short instructions on how to hold the ham and cut were also included. The stand is very sturdy and fits it perfectly. The ham was vacuum packed and came with a black cover too, which is really great. And now is the third time we have ordered a Serrano ham, and again it is perfect. The meat is delicious and of outstanding quality. We love it! We would repurchase it. Many thanks.”
