This large 30cm Spanish terracotta dish, known as a cazuela, is made from high-quality clay that has been used for thousands of years in the region of Pereruela. The unique combination of slow-drying red clay and white clay, containing quartz, feldspar, and mica, gives the pot its strength and incredible refractory properties. Each dish is hand-made by experienced potters and fired for 10 hours to create a durable and long-lasting product. The glaze is lead-free and safe for all applications. Before first use, it's recommended to soak the dish in cold water for 30 minutes to prevent cracking. Once prepared, this cazuela is perfect for cooking a variety of dishes, from traditional Spanish paella to other hearty meals.
