Rios Morcilla de Burgos, Spanish Black Pudding, 350g Vac Pack Reviews

4.9 Rating 299 Reviews
Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Morcilla de Burgos is a popular Spanish black pudding from Burgos in northern Spain. Originally, rice was added to bulk out the sausage, but its unique flavor became a signature dish. Morcilla de Burgos pairs well with roasted apples and piquillo peppers, but it's versatile enough for experimental chefs to use in various dishes, from pasta to poultry, game to garnish. Despite initial hesitance, Morcilla De Burgos is one of the best black puddings in the world. Each 350g vacuum-sealed sausage should be stored in the refrigerator and defrosted before consumption.

I was waiting for this product the most. I love morcilla de Burgos and nothing to do with English black pudding at least in London. Excellent product.

So good that we recreated the ‘Volcano’ from Hidalgo 56 in San Sebastian - topped with a cured egg yolk and apple purée. Delicious!!

Absolutely delicious, mild with just a hint of herb. Cooked in rounds on a plancha with Chistorra and Padron Peppers. Crusty bread and Aioli. Washed down with a crisp Rose .
