Our cured beef from Rubia Gallega breed is one of the star products of our Spanish charcuterie range.Also known as Cecina in Spain, this product is obtained from premium cuts of rubia gallega beef that carry greater infiltration, which are then subject to a light salting and subsequent curing for at least 8 months.Our cecina de rubia gallega comes in a 1kg bloc that is ready to slice and eat.We recommend slicing the beef and allowing it to come up to room temperature for 30 minutes before consumption and placing it on a tempered plate so that it melts slightly and opens all the rich and sweet flavours this premium cecina of rubia gallega offers.

“Well... I wanted to cook a Catalan dinner for my bf's birthday. I was counting on the Botifarra as apart of the menu but it didn't arrive as expected. I ordered it on Wednesday 13 January 2021 and on Monday 18th I got a call from Basco saying that the order was not placed due to the weather and if I still wanted it. I said "yes" because I want to try it but I was disappointed about the service.”

Hi Violeta, I am sorry that you were disappointed with the service. We asked you to call the office because we had a payment query with your card and so were unable to send your order until that had been resolved. When you did return our call we were then delayed with heavy snow in this region leading to our courier, DPD, suspending all collections. Unfortunately, this was beyond our control. We endeavour to get orders out as soon as possible and had it not been for the poor weather you would have got your order for the weekend. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
