My friend and I had these in a restaurant on a weekend trip to Liverpool. I fell in love with these sausages and asked the restaurant owner where he purchased them. He told us that they where from BASCO. As soon as we were back home I bought several on-line and now many of my friends are also loving them. Excellent!!!!!

Absolutely delicious! Barbecue on a griddle or cut into short pieces and fry without adding any fat. Serve with bread to soak up the juices. Great texture, not chewy. A little touch of piquancy makes it irresistible. A very fresh chorizo-style taste but because the sausage is thinner, it cooks more quickly. Makes a great tapa.

I became a fan of Chistorra following a recent tour of the Basque Country. Somewhat stupidly I forgot to bring some home. A web search found Basco Fine Foods and my 6 packs of sausage arrived within 2 days. I have found them delicious and will definitely be ordering more. Robert Philpot Malvern

Just as good as I remember it from when I used to live in the Basque Country many years ago.

I holidayed in Navarra and the Basque country in September and brought back some lovely El Bordon Txistorra. This disappeared quickly and I was desperate for a replacement, but wanted a high welfare product. So glad to find this online. It is as good if not better, with a mild picante kick and I shall be buying again (and again).
