Basco Fresh Cooking Chorizo Picante, 350g - Spanish Semi-Cured Sausage with Premium Paprika Reviews

Read Basco Fine Foods Reviews

Basco Fresh Cooking Chorizo Picante is the first charcuterie product under the Basco Brand, produced in La Rioja by a chorizo maker with over a century of experience. This semi-cured sausage has been developed exclusively by Basco and the producer, resulting in a moist sausage with a crispy exterior, ideal for cooking. The secret to authentic Chorizo lies in Spanish Paprika, which we use generously to infuse our Chorizo with its distinctive taste. Basco Cooking Chorizo is perfect for grilling or barbecuing, as well as for use in sauces, soups, and stews, enhancing their flavors with our unique spice blend. Each packet contains six sausages, with a three-month shelf life.

Excellent product. Gives a rich smoky flavour to stews and casseroles. Pairs really well with fish dishes also. I but this product from you on a regular basis

Excellent product! Really tasty, great depth of flavour with quite a kick. Knocked the chorizo I normally buy from the supermarket right out of the park!

For BBQ season I have recently ordered the cooking chorizos, iberico ribs and abanico (this time round trying the presa). All delicious and reasonably priced - never cooked abanico before - I found that if it gets past medium-rare-to-medium it goes tough. Two minor niggles, neither to do with the actual produce: 1) ordered on a Tuesday asking for Friday delivery but it was dispatched straight away anyway and 2) the packaging of the meat can be at different weights to advertised but as I ordered several the total amount ended up roughly right - but other reviewers have been stung by this.
