Finca Pascualete, a Spanish cheese producer with a history dating back to the 13th century, crafts this mini Retorta cheese from unpasturised sheep's milk. The cheese is made using only salt and thistle rennet, making it suitable for vegetarians. The sheep graze on the wild pastures of Extremadura, imparting a floral, herbacious flavour. This soft, unctuous and creamy cheese has an ivory colour and a powerful flavour and aroma. Best enjoyed by cutting off the top and spooning out the creamy paste onto some toasted sourdough.

“Brilliant and flavourful. It arrived ready to eat but could also have been kept carefully for a few days. We cut the top off the cheese and use a spoon to enjoy the smooth, buttery contents.”

“I purchased this cheese to get my order over £75 to get free delivery rather than pay the £6.75 delivery. What a piece of luck I chose this product as its absolutely magnificent. If you like a strong, smelly, runny cheese then try this. It tasted fantastic, the aroma is heavy and it’s shot straight to my number one favourite cheese and I’ll be buying it again and again to treat and surprise cheese loving friends.”
