Our semi-cured Manchego Vega Mancha boasts a very smooth flavor. This 3.5kg piece is small enough to handle yet large enough to share. The cheese carries the 'Queso Manchego D.O.' seal of authenticity, attesting to its high quality. With a curing period of up to 90 days, this young cheese offers a gentle sweet aroma and a dense paste with small eyes. Its texture is dry-ish but pliable, and its flavors are buttery with hints of green almonds and a mild finish. Serve slices or wedges of this flavorful cheese as tapas or snacks with olives, accompanied by sherry, beer, or sangria. It makes a great table cheese when paired with traditional membrillo (quince paste), fresh fruit, or honey. Keep it well wrapped in plastic wrap in a fresh and dark place for up to one year. This cheese is made from pasteurised milk.
