“This was our fourth time with Barnes Brinkcraft and it was wonderful, as usual. The embarkation and disembarkation went like clockwork, albeit it may not feel like that at the time. Everything was catered for and as returning customers received a fabulous hamper. We usually book a particular type of boat but this time we took friends so booked a bigger boat - Ultima 1. If I had any criticism it would be that it may be time to get that particular vessel updated. Great break all round.”
“She may be old, but for an extended family getaway she served her purpose, as first timers on The Broads and piloting a boat we had great fun and the Ultima 1 provided everything we needed. “Throughly enjoyed our stay on Ultima 1. Likely to book the boat again, however the sliding roof needs some maintenance unable to open up & gaps around the edge.

“It is essential that following guidelines on wearing life jackets is followed. One of the younger children fell into the river Ant, luckily we were moored at the time. Apart from that a great holiday.”
“The boat suited our needs. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the toilet and the pupming mechanism to flush.
I have given this 5 stars because booking and checking in went smoothly and the boat was clean and sufficiently equipped.”

Your feedback is appreciated. These are older design toilets (very typical on boats); however, newer versions are available with an automatic flush in some of our mid-range and all of our elite fleet boats. We try to include a picture of the bathroom on our website so you can see what's in the bathroom before booking.
