“We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Greylag goose. The inside of the property was very clean and couldn't fault it. The only small problem was that as the home was for six people, there were not enough chairs for us all to sit outside together to enjoy the view. We had to bring up some chairs from downstairs which were not as clean as they might have been. One couple had brought their own folding chairs so we managed ok.”
“Greylag Goose proved to be outstanding. A modern three-bedded house, all with up to date en-suites which had every facilty we could ask for, and everything worked beautifully. Solar panels and heat pump provided plenty of heating - much appreciated so early in the season. Fast Broadband kept us in touch with the world and our friends around the world. The use of a motor launch to use when we felt like it came as a bonus, and we enjoyed a trip to Horning and back seeing the developing greening and various birdlife. We were welcomed by a seemingly efficient staff at reception who gave us directions to the house, some way across the river where there was adequate parking. Our son drove the motor launch to a dedicated mooring not far from the house. All went smoothly, the house was spotless. The weather was kind to us, but the beauty of this arrangement is that we didn't have to go out on the water, and could easily drive anywhere around beautiful Norfolk if we wishes. Which we did! “Our stay was really good, lovely place, clean throughout, bathroom in each bedroom added bonus. We had everything we needed and given tea coffee and milk on arrival. Boat was great with the holiday kids loved it and went for lunch”
