“we enjoyed a weeks holiday on velvet 2, the boat was reasonably comfortable for an older boat and everything worked as it should do.
we just felt that a few upgrades to the interior would be beneficial to the boat.
Removal of tired carpet in the rear cabin and possibly new flooring throughout but not carpet !!, new seat covers in dining area, luckily we had covers to put over, toilet seat needs a simple catch so it stays up and mirror needs replacing.
Decks on the boat were not clean and both entrance footwells had blocked drains which i cleaned, catches for securing boat hook and mop were broken.
Our experience at the yard was rather chaotic, safety videos were not emailed therefore we had to watch before proceeding, boat seemed to have been moored in wrong place hence our car had vehicles jammed in next to it hindering our unloading.
A stern on position like all your other boats would have been appreciated.
After a long journey we just got aboard best we could and after a demo were on our way.
An email regards refund breakdown would have been good.”

I would agree that the carpet needs looking at, unfortunately, it's not straightforward to replace it with a non-carpeted option. The decks should have been clean, and a quick word would have resulted in embarrassment on our part and the problem being sorted out.
We are not able to offer stern on moorings all the time as we just do not have room in the yard, but we will do our best to accommodate customers who are struggling and will offer help with loading and unloading if needed.
I am surprised you did not recieve an email with a link to the safety videos, they are automatically generated and tend to go out to the vast majority of customers. We will investigate why this did not occur in this instance.
We don't always email customers if we have discussed the fuel refund with them in person, but usually do so if customers are not present - we will look into ways of automating this in the future
