“We hired Quartet for a 3 night break. We had great service on departure with an informative and helpful introduction session to the boat and its controls. The boat itself was easy to sail and manoeuvre, including mooring up. Quartet is very comfortable with two double beds and plenty of space in the main cabin area. The front bathroom takes a bit of practice as it’s small, but the rear bathroom is great for showering. With a decent kitchen and cooking facilities we had everything we needed for a short break. Our favourite feature was the retractable cabin roof that allowed us to sail in the open air. We would recommend this boat for 2-4 people and would happily rent it again on our next trip.”

“What a lovely boat. The space within was ample and the facilities were more than adequate. It was extremely easy to manoeuvre and the automatic mud weight made life onboard much easier. The onboard free WiFi meant we had internet access at all times and for the first time ever we had a great signal on the TV's both in the main saloon and bedroom,and loads of channels to watch in the evenings. We would definitely book this boat again.”

“When hiring the quartet I didn't know this was the quartet 4. So there are 3 other versions. Spotted the 3 on the river looked newer. The style of boat is best suited for the broads as it goes under ludham bridge anytime and also Wroxham tide allowing and general cruising is bliss. The boat is also easy to control ( bow thrusters are must ) and for sten mooring you can see over the top. The boat engine is so quiet, which rare in older models but the boat itself is tired and had some rough modifications. However that aside a great boat to spend a week on. We keep coming to Barnes due to the great service, good value and good quality boats.”
“Fantastic boat, had everything you could need and the shower in the back bedroom was amazing - best we have ever had on a boat. Beds were comfortable, kitchen fully equipped and the boat was easy to handle. Great to have water gauge and full electricity- makes a lovely change to have a ‘normal kettle’.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, will definitely be booking again”
Sounds like Quartet suited you down to the ground, John. A good shower, comfortable bed and a proper kettle can make quite a difference after a day cruising the Broads!
