Excellent service, the boat was fantastic and easy to sail. We would definitely recommend Barnes Brinkcraft for your holiday. We will definitely be booking again.

As others have said, these boats are feeling a bit tired now. We had a few issues - one toilet refused to empty after the first night (thankfully still in boatyard and fixed), bow thruster controller literally fell off in my hand in upper driving position (it went back on but fell off a few times at key moments) The upper driving position is really open to the elements. If it is raining you will get cold and wet as visibility from the inside position is next to zero in the rain (or for doing any manoeuvres for that matter). The throttle has weird false neutrals that can make mooring "entertaining" as the boat is in gear when you think it shouldn't be And it should carry a warning re Ludham bridge. This boat is 8ft high, the bridge is 8ft 6in at best. If you can't get under Ludham bridge then the Northern Broads are very restrictive for a 7 day break. You get a refund on your fuel deposit but no invoice to say why you have been charged what you have or the price per litre (can only assume that it is £££ if they aren't saying) Definitely wouldn't book this boat again. BB boatyard could also do with a revamp. Facilities are very basic.

Interior a little tired, heater not working when we arrived but was dealt with promptly. Would be cramped as a 6 berth but suited us and the dog. Easy to return and no messing with return of fuel deposit. See you next year!

Thanks David For the clear and useful feedback. I'd agree that 6 on board would be a bit of a tight squeeze. we advertise her as 4+2 berth so its clear that the extra 2 berths are made up in the salon each night All the best, The Team at Barnes Brinkcraft

The boat handled very well, was comfortable and clean, only small issue was the cupboard door top hinge in the aft bedroom became detached, but the door still stayed closed

We were a party of 4 old timers, stayed on concerto 1. Old boat well used, few things wrong, which we mentioned, but overall we had a lovely time . Boat price was on par for age and time of year. Inside is a little snug . Peculiar floor in front bedroom, the back bedroom is also a walk way, bathroom was interesting, hand basin is under the bulkhead, make thing a little wet in the morning ! lots of steps up and down tough for old arthritic hips

Hi Cathie Many thanks for the feedback. Fitting bathrooms in boats is always a little tricky !! It is worth noting that some of our boats do not have steps once you are on the boat - which will make it a bit more comfortable for those with arthritic hips. Please give the guys in the office a ring and they will be happy to talk you through other options Kind regards, The Barnes Brinkcraft Team

We had a great holiday, the staff, boat and general service was as expected and required. We had a problem with the boat, they responded straight away and everything was resolved swiftly, which meant our holiday wasn’t spoilt at all. Great service. Boat condition and cleanliness was excellent.

First time on the Norfolk Broads and we absolutley loved and will definatley return. Concerto is a mid range boat but has everything you need. lots of steps and ups and downs inside and outside . Concerto was a 6 berth but we just had 2 couples on there, i woudnt like to have had 6 people as it would have been very cosy hahah.

Hi Janet Many thanks for your review Its great to hear you are looking to return I'd agree with you about the size of the boat - we advertise her as 4+2 berth on our own website. The +2 denotes that you would need to make up a bed in the saloon, which isn't for everyone All the best The Team at Barnes Brinkcraft
