“Viewing this lounge set online, I thought it looked really nice and even better in the sale. However, upon delivery both armchairs were damaged - strangely in the same place. Barker and Stonehouse replaced these without hesitation and the new ones received with no problems.
The only issue is, that the set is much smaller than I had anticipated. I know the dimensions are listed online but I was very surprised when it was delivered. The quality and style is very good but if I’d seen it in store first, then I wouldn’t have bought it.”
“This arrived with every piece damaged. It wasn’t damage that had been caused in transit so it was knowingly packed and sent to me in that state. One of the chairs had a crack in the arm that was almost the whole way through. The table had chips in it and the other chairs had cracks/chips. There was a piece of wood underneath that had been assembled incorrectly meaning I couldn’t build it even if I’d wanted to. When I called customer service I was offered just £250 back. When it came to a refund after I’d been waiting 10 days I called them to see what was happening to be told ‘oh yes I can refund that now’. No one mentioned having to call to action the refund so not sure how long they would have kept the money had I not called. Not a good refunds process.
Positives- Delivery was good and quick as was collection. customer services were helpful and very easy to get hold of.”
